PUBG MOBILE Global Championship 2021: Results

The first match began for the West on Day 1 in Erangel. The Black Dragon Esports showed the world a spectacular performance, bagging 15 rank points and finishing 15 times. They now have a total of 30 points. 

Coming in second place is A7 Esports, with 19 points in total, followed by S2G at the third position with 12 points. 

Match 2 happened in Miramar, one of the favourite sniper maps in the game. Fans got a treat with some of the best sniper shots ever made. Eastern Stars bagged the chicken dinner with impeccable teamwork. They also eliminated the last player of Knights. MadBulls are in third place with a total of 14 points. 

The most coveted tournament in PUBG, the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2021 is an arena where only the best players meet. All these teams dominated their respective regions and are now set in getting a slice of the prize pool valued at $6 million. 

The league has two divisions, the East and the West. East Day 1 successfully concluded, and West ended with S2G Esports at the top spot. Overall, S2G has 63 points. Trailing behind is Black Dragon Esports at 59 points. At the third spot is Eastern Starts with 55 points. 

The third match wowed fans with intense action. Every player was placed in an open area, and they had to quickly find hiding spots. Furious Gaming took advantage of this set-up and claimed 13 finishes. They eliminated Rise Esports.

XSET, a team that recently announced a partnership with HyperX, only took home one finish. Thanks to their ranking points, they still managed to climb and position themselves at the third spot.

What is going to happen next? 

There are 40 teams competing in the biggest event of the year. There are three phases—League Stage, League Finals and Grand Finals. 

The first two phases are already in commencement, both happening between the East and West regions. The top teams from each region will be the seed in the PMGC 2021 Grand Finals. 

Each group has to play four matches in a day. These matchups happen on weekdays, and 16 teams will qualify for the Super Weekend match. Overall, there are 15 matches per week in a single lobby format. Those who accumulate points in the Super Weekend will become part of a team’s overall league standings. 

In the East League, the prize pool is $735,000, to be shared among 20 teams. Only the top 6 teams will make it to the grand finals. Those who want to bet on their favourite teams can do so on sites like

The League Phase started on November 30 and will run until December 24. The finals for both East and West regions will take place between December 22 and December 24. After that, the Grand Finals will happen between January 21 and January 23.

Once the Super Weekend games are over, 16 teams will make it to the Division Finals. These are the teams that have the most points.  

Nine teams will make it to the Grand Finals from the East. In the West, six teams will participate, and then one team from India will join.

Who are the most likely champion contenders?

One of the teams to watch out for is A7 eSports. It is a Brazilian powerhouse that was only formed in March of 2021. Despite being new, the team has already won several competitions in the PUBG universe.

NAVI is another team to watch out for. It is one of the best teams in Europe, and they bagged 6th place in the Peacekeeper Elite Championship in 2020. They also won the PUBG Mobile Pro League in Season 1 for the European Championship. 

Lastly, SixTwoEight is likely to make its way to the finals. It is a clutch team that has proven to be a formidable opponent. It has outranked groups like 4AM and TC. They have one of the best firepower and gameplay in the sport.
